The Hawthorn Football Club is hosting a Christmas open training session on Saturday 7th December at Waverley Park.

Bring the family along for what is to be a fun filled morning. They’ll have a visit from Santa, Hawthorn mascots Hawka & Hawkette, inflatables and kid’s activities including face painter & ballon artist, plus giveaways! The Hawks players will do signings after training concludes.

You’ll also see some friendly faces from the WPHawks at our marquee cooking up a yummy sausage sizzle for you all, so come down and see us and grab a sausage or two!

We as a club send our deepest condolences to Holly and Bianca’s families and the wider Beaumaris Football Club community 🕊️💙💛🕊️

A Go Fund Me has been organised by the families of Bianca and Holly. It aims to raise awareness about the dangers of methanol poisoning — a silent but deadly risk that often claims lives without warning.

They want to honour the memory of Bianca, Holly, and others impacted by methanol poisoning by turning this tragedy into a mission for change. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used to:

1. Relieve Financial Burdens: Assist the families in covering out-of-pocket expenses, including those incurred while bringing Bianca and Holly home during this difficult time.

2. Support Existing Initiatives: Contribute to organisations already working to combat methanol poisoning through education and prevention efforts.

3. Fund Awareness Campaigns: Launch initiatives to educate travellers, local communities, and businesses about the dangers of methanol poisoning and how it can be avoided.
